Shermin Lakha is the Founder and Managing Attorney of LVLUP Legal. She started LVLUP Legal as a progressive, people-focused firm with the goal of modernizing the legal field by creating open communication and providing flat-fee pricing.

Shermin primarily focuses on early stage startups and clients seeking investments. She also specializes in business contracts and negotiations. She also specializes in business contracts, influencer collaborations, licensing agreements, and strategic negotiations.

Shermin is a proud female founder who is on a mission to break stereotypes of what it means to be a lawyer.

Shermin Lakha is the Founder and Managing Attorney of LVLUP Legal. Shermin primarily focuses on early stage startups with a concentration on clients seeking investments. She also specializes in business contracts, influencer collaborations, licensing agreements, and strategic negotiations.

Shermin understands that the pathway to success is not always straight and narrow, and by using creative techniques, Shermin helps clients formalize investment agreements, negotiate business deals, protect intellectual property, and advises clients on all general legal matters.

After gaining experience working for Goldman Sachs, the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, and Freshfields, Bruckhaus, Derringer, Shermin set out to build LVLUP Legal as a unique law firm that delivers exceptional results to achieve the goals of their clients.

Since launching the practice, she has worked with e-commerce companies, technology and health startups, restaurants, beauty and fashion brands, artists, event planners, and marketing companies.

Shermin has been featured in Vogue Business, Retail Boss, and Business Insider; serves as a Legal Advisor and Board Member for several emerging startups; is a recurring pitch competitions; offers seminars and workshops on empowering entrepreneurs to understand the law; has been featured on several podcasts; and is an ambassador for various female-founded organizations.

She is passionate about encouraging women in all professional careers to take off their corporate "mask" and live authentically by embracing the attributes that give them their power. She is involved in encouraging women to break out of traditional ways of investing and get involved in Web3 and in the non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

In her spare time, Shermin likes to try new group fitness classes, travel, explore new restaurants and events, and shop at designer sample sales.
